Access Welfare Trust (AWT) is an organization that seeks to bring out a social transformation in Tamilnadu, empowering rural communities to achieve their fullest potential, to lead a self-sustaining life with dignity, and to inspire hope for a brighter future focusing mainly on disadvantaged people like differently-abled, women and children in villages, who cannot overcome poverty due to lack of opportunities.

 

AWT was started in 2020 by energetic, motivated, and committed alumni of 1985-89 batch of Government College Of Technology, Coimbatore, with the goal of promoting community empowerment working with partners ensuring accountability and responsibility, and sustainability.

 

Our core principle is to serve the needy independent of political, commercial, military, ethnic, or religious objectives. We strive for empowering communities by

• Training differently-abled people for various job opportunities 

• Easy Access to Education and Learning in Villages

• Women's Economic Empowerment through self-help groups to improve their conditions and elevate their social stature
